Saturday Night in Nashville!

May 6 PM

We went into Nashville to hear some music tonight. Saturday night is wild but then we heard that every night is wild! There were people everywhere crowding into all the bars. The sidewalks were full of people like us looking for some good tunes plus a lot of street music was going on, some good and some not so good. Our first stop was the Wildhorse Saloon on Second Street. The lead singer was also a songwriter and really good. We sat up on the second level and watched the line dancing going on below. We actually had seats here and ordered something to eat and a beer. Next we went down to Broadway and hit the music at Tootsie’s, The Legend, Second Fiddle and Margaretville staying just a little while at each one. Good thing we didn’t need to order something at each place! Great music but oh so loud and so crowded. My ears were ringing after a while. We weren’t the only seniors in the crowd but most were in their 20’s and 30’s. We just aren’t in training for the rowdy night life but it was really fun to be in the middle of all of it.
